Our Village Cookie Shoppe is a pretty extraordinary place. We’re owned and operated by the Mental Health America of Los Angeles. MHALA reinvests our revenue to help homeless adults and young people with disabilities get an education, a job, and a place to call home. We guess you could say that our Village Cookie Shoppe is not your cookie cutter kind of place.

Each holiday season I send gifts to special clients, colleagues and friends. I also make contributions to organizations that make a difference in the lives of people who need assistance. By sending MHA cookies and brownies as my holiday gifts I accomplished both of my goals, and I let my clients, colleagues and friends know about a great organization that does important work.
